Changing the AI voice in your Zenious video allows you to customize the voiceover to better match your content, audience, or brand preferences. By selecting from a variety of available voices, you can adjust accent, gender, or style to achieve the desired effect. Customizing the voiceover can enhance viewer engagement and ensure consistency with your company’s branding.

To change the AI voice used in your video

1. Click the Language and Voice Over Artist dropdown menu.
   The Voice Over options panel appears, displaying the language currently set for your video and the available voice options. 
   Important: You cannot change the language or translate the video to another language from this menu. To translate the video into another language, use the Translate option at the top of the page.

   
   

2. Browse the list of available voice options for the current language.
   You see all voices compatible with the selected language.

   
   

3. (Optional) Filter voices by accent, gender, or style.
   The list updates to show only voices matching your selected filters.

   
   

4. (Optional) Use the search function to find a specific voice.
   The search results display voices matching your query.

   
   

5. Preview a voice by clicking the play button next to it.
   You hear a sample phrase in the selected voice, allowing you to evaluate its suitability.

   
   

6. (Optional) To make a voice your company’s default, choose the desired voice and turn on the Save as default for my company setting.
   After you Update the video (see step 8), all new videos processed in Zenious will use your newly selected default voice.

   
   

7. Click Apply Voice.
   A beacon appears, indicating you have chosen a different voice over artist and that the new voice is not yet applied to the video.
   
   

8. Click the Update button to apply the new voice to your video. The transcript is generated with the new voiceover. 
   Important: The new voice is not applied until you click Update.
