Quick Start: Recorded Meetings to Videos and Docs

Zenious streamlines the process of transforming your recorded meetings, training sessions, and webinars into polished videos and structured documentation. Its meetings feature supports recordings up to two hours from platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, product demos, webinars, and instructor-led sessions.

Zenious automatically analyzes your uploaded recordings, identifies key topics, and organizes them into logical segments, making it easy to focus on specific content areas or export individual segments as needed.

Upload and Segment a Meeting Recording

Uploading and segmenting your meeting recording is the first step in transforming your raw footage into actionable content. Zenious supports recordings from various platforms and uses advanced analysis to identify speakers and topics, breaking your recording into manageable segments for easy navigation and editing.

To upload and segment a meeting recording

Click the Meetings option in Zenious.
The meetings interface appears, allowing you to manage and upload recordings.
Select the recording file you want to upload.
The file name and video duration are displayed, and you can edit the file name if needed.
Click Upload to start the upload process.
Zenious begins uploading your recording. You may close the window during this process.
In the Meetings tab, monitor the status of your uploaded recording.
The status updates as Zenious processes your file.
Once processing is complete, click Review Segments.
Zenious displays the identified segments on the left and the full transcript on the right, including the number of speakers per segment.
(Optional) Use the built-in player to preview any segment.
You can listen to what was discussed in each segment for review.

Preview, Adjust, and Export Segments

After Zenious segments your recording, you can review, adjust, and export individual segments to focus on specific topics or create targeted content.

To preview, adjust, and export segments

Select a segment from the list on the left.
The segment’s transcript and speaker details are displayed on the right.
(Optional) Use the segment bar to adjust the segment’s boundaries.
You can include parts of the previous or next segments as needed.
Save the adjusted segment as a new segment and rename it if desired.
The new segment appears in your list, ready for export or further editing.
To export the segment exactly as it is, click Actions and select Export as Is.
Zenious queues the original video segment for export, providing just the portion you selected.

Generate AI-Refined Videos and Documentation

Zenious enables you to create AI-narrated videos or structured documentation from your segments, allowing for further refinement and customization.

To generate AI-refined videos and documentation

Click Actions on your chosen segment and select AI Refined Video.
Zenious reviews the entire recording, considers context from surrounding segments, and generates a narration with relevant details and nuances.
Review and edit the generated narration as needed.
The text shown will be used directly in your generated video.
Important: Carefully review and edit the narration to ensure it fits your needs before saving changes.
(Optional) If you expand the segment to add more information, click Regenerate to update the narration.
The narration is updated to reflect the new content.
Once satisfied with the narration, proceed to create the AI-refined video.

Zenious displays the word count and selected voice, which you can change if desired. You may also choose to include a title slide.
Click Create AI Refined Video to start the video generation process.
Zenious begins generating your AI-narrated video.
When your video is ready, click Preview and Edit to open your project.

You can edit the video, adjust the AI voice, translate it into over 100 languages, or generate documentation directly from video project.
To generate documentation, click Create and then Documentation.
Select your preferred type (e.g., step-by-step) and click Generate Document.
Zenious processes the document.
When your document is ready, preview and edit it in the new window.

The article is formatted as step-by-step instructions and opens in a new project that you can update the text, screenshots and Export the article as markdown, HTML, or RTF.
Any article of video that you create from the recordings are accessible from your homepage or landing page.
This makes your content easy to access and manage.

Combine Multiple Segments

Combining multiple segments allows you to create a new, cohesive segment from selected portions of your recording, which can then be exported or further refined.

This is useful for focusing on related topics that were discussed in different parts of the meeting.

To combine multiple segments

Select the segments you wish to combine (e.g., segments 6 and 8, skipping segment 7).

The selected segments are highlighted for combination.
Choose the option to combine the selected segments into a new segment.
Zenious creates a new segment containing the combined content.
Important: The maximum segment length in Zenious is 15 minutes, whether you are working with a single segment or combining multiple segments. The combined duration must not exceed this limit.
Review the full source transcript, highlighted to show which parts were used, and note the number of speakers involved.
Zenious provides a clear overview of the combined segment’s content and speaker details.
Export the combined segment directly, or use Zenious to generate an AI-refined video or documentation from it.
The new segment is now available for further processing or export.
