Cropping a video allows you to remove unwanted areas from the frame, such as distracting backgrounds, browser tabs, or interface panels. This process helps focus attention on the most important content in your video. Cropping is non-destructive, meaning you can adjust or undo the crop at any time, even after exporting the video.
Select the Crop Video option in your video editor.
The crop video screen appears, allowing you to begin cropping.
(Optional) Collapse the timeline to create a larger workspace.
The canvas area increases, making it easier to select the crop region.
Note: Collapsing the timeline is helpful if you need more space to adjust your crop.
Use the crop selection panel to choose the area of the video you want to keep.
The selected area is highlighted, and the rest of the video is dimmed.
Click Apply to confirm your crop selection.
The crop is applied, and only your selected area is visible in the frame.
Click the Crop button again to re-enter crop mode.
The crop selection panel reappears, allowing further adjustments.
Adjust the selection area as needed using the crop handles.
The highlighted area updates to reflect your new selection.
Click Apply to update the crop.
The crop is updated, and unwanted sections are no longer visible.
Export your video using the editor’s export function.
The final output matches your selected crop area.
Click the Crop Undo button.
The crop is removed, and your original video is restored.
(Optional) Export the video again if you want the full, uncropped version.
The exported video now includes all original portions.
