When you process a video, Zenious automatically syncs your audio and video. In some cases, where you may want to fine-tune the timing between your transcript and video frames, Zenious allows manual audio and video synchronization. This is especially useful when you want specific words in your transcript to match precise moments in your video, such as when a mouse pointer appears or an action occurs.
To manually sync audio and video in Zenious
Open your project in Zenious.
The main editing interface appears, displaying your transcript alongside the video timeline.
Locate the word in the transcript you want to sync with a specific video frame and double-click the word (e.g., 'click') to select it.
A context menu appears.
To sync the audio with video, click AV Sync.
The current video frame associated with the selected word is displayed (e.g., the 24th second).
Play the video and pause at the exact frame you want to link with the selected word.
The video pauses at your chosen frame (e.g., the 25th second).
Note: Use the playback controls to find the precise moment you want to sync.
Click Save to confirm the new sync point.
Zenious updates the audio-video sync in a few seconds.
Verify the sync by selecting the word in the transcript.
The mouse pointer or on-screen action now matches your chosen video frame, ensuring accurate alignment.
